Gabriela Garza-Padilla is an artist that speaks not only with the colors and lines in her works, but with her soul.

In 2008 I had the honor to be considered a Master in the Imaginary Realism Painting and I am in the renowned Art Book "Dreamscape 3", published in Amsterdam.

In 2008 I moved to Santa Fe, NM, USA, at the feet of the Rockies Mountains after living three years in Miami. Some earth is good to balance too much water. I think.

Bachelor Degree in Communication Studies in Monterrey Institute of Technology and Superior Studies, ITESM, Monterrey, Mexico, 1986.

I worked four years in the corporate world as Chief of Human Resources Planning and Corporate Communication.

In 1990 I established my first studio and began to paint.

Since that year, I have had 17 solo exhibitions in Mexico, USA and Japan, and had participated in more than thirty group shows in Mexico, Honduras, France, USA, Canada, Japan and Amsterdam.

Artist’s Statement

In water began life and into her it multiplies. Since the darkness of the beginnings and the humidity of women, is always the birth and the creation of bodies…of ideas that manifest anything. Mind and uterus. Abismal depths. Watery worlds. Woman painter. Sorcerer.  I invoke through my colors and drawings the veiled mystery of being, of being alive and transform our reality.

The painter who paint a reality that changes with the solely presence of the witness. Quantum pshysics. The laboratory description of Faith. Pure spirituality. Ancient wisdom. And I paint myself  thinking, like the mirror in front of another mirror. Endless path. Waves in the universal pond.

I am the restless weaver using the threads that put together all that exists. Consciousness. We all are more than to what the eyes perceive. And I use symbols, archetypes and colors to speak directly not to the eyes and consciousness of  people, but to the deepest mind that rests in the bottom of everything.

The characters are me and the others. Finally the others are me and I live into the others. Characters always thinking, with their minds stretched, jeweled, embellished, reaching the hights  -or abyss- where all is created.
Reminds us that we all are the creators of this life, of its sparkles and mirages. I am back. I am here once again and  this endless yearning of being a magician and manifest forms through the lines and colors have impelled me to form another body  and introduce myself to the world as a painter woman.

Let me celebrate The Being, The Witness, The Thinker.
